Why These Courses Exist

Most survivors walk into court without the knowledge or confidence to be heard.

These courses help bridge that gap — translating complex legal systems into plain language, showing how those systems impact trauma, how trauma affects those systems, and helping you turn your lived experience into advocacy.

Condensed but Thorough

It would be impossible to reach, on an individual basis, the number of moms (and dads) who need this information. You can get it here.

Learn from experience

These courses are created from years of sleepless nights, countless hours of study, and trial and error approaches in real-world scenarios.

Easy to follow courses

The courses are designed to be easy to follow and are structured in such a way that you can learn at your own pace. You don't have to be a seasoned litigant to gain value.

Be part of the change

With each course you take and refer to others, you help build a community of advocates who have solid foundational about important issues affecting your rights.
Who This Is For

You don’t need a law degree to advocate for yourself or your children — you need knowledge.

Survivors of domestic abuse

The courses are tailored to provide knowledge to survivors of domestic abuse because trauma often leads to disability and makes self-advocacy extremely difficult. With this knowledge, you gain valuable insights that help you do just that.

Self-represented litigants

For self-represented litigants who are advocating for themselves and their children, substantial rights and protections are involved and knowledge gaps exist. These courses help bridge that gap.

Are these courses part of a nonprofit?
Yes! The nonprofit organization is committed to empowerment through education and advocacy. As it grows, so will the offerings.

Absolutely — in fact, that’s the goal. Survivors are in need of education and advocates. These courses help with both.
Why is there a charge for the courses?
As wonderful as it would be to offer the courses for free, there is overhead with developing, managing, and hosting them.
